+380 Side Gigs for Teachers
My name is Luke, CEO of ProofreadingServices.com, a proofreading company that hires many teachers for after-hours and summer work.
We wrote four guides to help you find legitimate ways to earn extra money outside of the classroom. Here they are:
104 Places to Find Work-from-Home Proofreading Jobs
48 More Places to Find Work-from-Home Proofreading Jobs
131 Legitimate Work-from-Home Transcription Companies
101 Great Places to Find Freelance Writing Jobs
Why did we write these guides?
We wrote them for two reasons:
(1) Because we receive hundreds of proofreading applications daily, but I'm able to hire only those proofreaders who score above 95% on our test. I wanted to help other applicants in their job search (I was there once, too) while also generating another revenue source for my company to defray our considerable recruiting costs (we advertise our careers page widely to find phenomenal applicants). Radical transparency and honesty might not be common in today's business world, but that's how I run my company.
(2) Because we know that most teachers don't make enough. Whether it's the constant pressure on teachers' salaries or the gaps without work in the summer, we know that teachers are some of the most talented members of the workforce, and they deserve to earn more.
How can these guides help you earn more outside of the classroom?
The purpose of the guides is to help you find legitimate work-from-home jobs that work with a teacher's schedule. Altogether, the four guides contain 384 places to find scam-free work-from-home jobs across 144 pages. Could you find them on your own? Probably. Would it make any sense for you to spend 80 hours doing that and then another 20 hours eliminating scams? No. What teacher has time for that?
How do I get the guides, and how much do they cost?
Enter a price you think is fair in the box and the four guides will immediately be sent to your email.
Name any price you think is fair. The suggested price is $19.84, less than an hour of work for many of the jobs listed here (also, I'm a book nerd and love Orwell's 1984).
